So, choose a good and nice reception desk is very important for your area, sometimes a few clients like to ask why your Corian solid surface material reception desk is expensive than other wood material reception desk? Now we are explaining clear for that.

1. Custom make a Corian reception desk, we need to make a strong wood&steel frame, thus it can strong enough to support all the desk body, and must need 18mm thickness plywood, some wood suppliers only use 12mm plywood.

2. When finished the inside wood and steel frame, we need to cover and join the 12mm thickness Corian solid surface material, as we know the Corian belong the stone, so it is little heavy, so our workers must skillful and carefully to do that, the worker must use strong glue to ensure Corian fixed on the wood frame very well.

3. When the Corian covered on the fame, we need to wait 1 day to let te glue dry, and then the worker can start polish, make a reception desk, we need to polish the desk for 6 times, and as a wood reception desk, it does not need to to that, so you know the just the polish takes much labor than wood desk, so the labor cost is higher.

4. And before producing, normally we need to make produce 3D drawings for our clients, to ensure everyhting that satisfied with their's requirements.

So you know make a Corian reception desk takes too much labor and material, wooden frame+Corian+Fix+Join+Polish, and the wood reception desk just need Fame+Painting or Laminate, so the cost is difference.
